Your First Visit

In order to have a good first visit with us, some preparations beforehand will make your appointment productive and successful.

• Remember to schedule your appointment well in advance so you are not delaying your dental care and can come in at a time of your convenience.
• The next step would be to fill out the online patient registration form and make sure you submit it before your visit. This will ensure you do not have to wait too long before seeing the doctor.
• During the consultation, feel free to ask any questions about any pain or issues they may have with your teeth and mouth overall. No issue is too small to bring up if it has been bothering you, and this helps Dr. Sonneveld to diagnose any issues better and find what’s causing them pain.
• One should also bring a list of any medications they are currently taking with them to their dentist appointment. Following through with treatment recommendations made by the doctor can be difficult if one is on multiple medications, so it is best that they bring all of this information to their appointment.
• If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, recommended a certain treatment protocol, or shared any other dental records, you could request them to forward it to our office. If additional diagnostics are necessary, they can be taken to our facility.

Remember to bring your dental insurance records. Our knowledgeable office staff can consult with you on the cost of treatment and the potential coverage based on these documents.
